Street Poster Sizes

In Melbourne and Perth, poster sizes are A0: 1189mm x 841mm Portrait. In Sydney, Adelaide & Brisbane they are larger, measuring a poster size of 1000mm x 1400mm Portrait. This is due to the frames built to fit the poster size for your advertisment. We also offer billboard bookings and mega-sites which are charged by the week. Please ask us for pricing.

Can I stick up my own Street Posters?

Sticking up your own street posters may be difficult. We advise you ALWAYS seek permission of the business owner / landlord / property owner before you stick up your street poster. You may be liable to pay fines from councils. NEVER paste over other posters. All Distro Print’s street posters and indoor poster locations are always approved and 100% LEGAL with planning permits. They will be pasted and you are NOT be liable to any fines. You will never be charged a fine if you book a street poster campaign with Distro Print.

How Do I paste My Own Street Poster? What Glue Do I Use?

If you are pasting your own street posters in a private space, we often get asked, what is the tequnique to paste posters?

Step 1: For smaller street poster jobs, purchase some wallpaper glue, we recommend a product like POLY WALLPAPER GLUE this is most suited for indoor pasting, OR mixing 2 parts wheat flour with 3 parts water. Mix very thoroughly until there are few lumps in the mixture.

Step 2: Get a large brush or even a broom you would use for sweeping in your kitchen. Dip into your glue solution, lay a thick layer on the surface first, carefully place the street poster on top of the glue, press down with your hands then apply another layer of glue with your brush trying carefully not to split or damage the poster. The street poster will dry quickly and depending on weather conditions, can last for up to 6 months.
